Eating out

Great thread so thanks OP for asking. I looked at the menu before I'm due to go out on Sunday and might actually go for a Steak with salad. I'm not fully low carb yet though getting there.

I didn't know that about McDonalds and though that the McNuggets might have been the only thing I could eat on the menu!
 
Thanks for all your replies and suggestions. I had wondered about phoning ahead and asking for adjustments to menus but wasn't sure how well that would be received. Sounds like it's something to try.

Eating out locally is one thing, how do people manage going away on holiday? Sounds like a hellava lot of hard work planning ahead wherever you choose to eat including hotel/B&B etc.

Holidays are a dream, sausages, bacon and eggs at breakfast, cheeses, meats, a little fruit and yogurt doesn't hurt either. Just avoid the high carb like the breads and pasta.
