I nipped into Tesco earlier on today for a few bits and I spotted some 'Free From Raspberry Jelly' and thought "Yum". They were gluten free, wheat free and sugar free and looked delicious.

Gawd ... eeeeyuukkkk ... thwwwppphhhh ... eeeerrrrrccchhhh ... I feel like I've just eaten a chemical cocktail and can't get the horrible sickly taste out of my mouth.

So I'm now eating an omelette made with fried lardons :D

I'll remember to steer clear of that one then!!

I bought two ... the second one went straight in the bin. Gawd it was such a horrible eating experience that I'm traumatised when I see a raspberry jelly now! :(

Come on GraceK, read the label, and why is it called 'Free from rasberry ' ?

I don't get that.

All this meant in agood way, I know that you are a fine poster.

Haaaaaaaaa! See what the chemicals have done to me? It was free from everything you could possibly want it to be free from - except chemicals. In fact I was beginning to wonder whether I hadn't become the victim of some kind of malicious tampering with the product. God it was the vilest **** I've ever tasted. I'd rather have a proper raspberry jelly and a high BG reading.

Haha i'll steer clear of them as well then. I didn't know there were others on here with Coeliac disease? Nice to know i'm not alone :)
