Effects of Dioralyte

Just wondering to help re-hydrate your body after sickness etc, can a type 1 take Dioralyte. I know it has glucose in it, and just wondering how will it affect your body, and would you take less insulin with in etc - thanks

Not sure there would be enough carbs in it to worry about too much if u are ill but I always found it made me feel so much better when my sugars were high and waiting for my correction dose to kick in
