Hi I’m new to the forum today and decided to sign in to see if anyone had any advice for me. I’m type 2 diet controlled current hba1c 50. It hovers around there has been 53 and 49.
On Wednesday I went into hospital for an angiogram which turned into an urgent situation with main artery being blocked 99%. So now I have a stent and the diagnosis is Coronary Artery Disease.
My diabetic control of food has always been low or no sugar and I never looked at fat content. Diabetes control successful throughout and am almost down to prediabetic.
My problem now is finding food that is suitable for diabetics with heart disease. Apart from the obvious omega 3 and veg I’m lost. Any ideas? Thank you
