Well I'm glad I watched that. First time I've ever seen the effects of going so low. I was a bit bemused by trying to give him a biscuit whilst he was still out of it, at least give him a chance to come round first. I felt sorry for him whilst watching it. My girlfriend turned to me and said "I better not ever have to see you like that" I hope she doesn't have to either.

I bet he wanted to change his shirt afterwards too :p

For anyone who missed this, it is available on line. Worth watching for all.

Made me realize how quickly hypos can appear. The poor chap said he felt a bit drowsy in a meeting and didn't remember anything else that happened. Didn't seem like much warning. His first reading was 0.9!! Luckily it was treated and eventually levels got to 6.00.

Catherine,

Just watched this last night and was shocked at what I seen, this poor fella was in a hell of a state and it just goes to show how fast hypoglycemia can progress. Did I hear right that this man was a type 2 on meds?
