Hi I have been referred to endocrinology. I think I may have thyroid, hormone and circulation problems . Not sure what to expect and if I can request specific tests. I want to make the most of my appointment.

Thanks

Without more specific details it is very difficult to provide an answer.
Endocrinologists are experts in hormone conditions which may include diabetes, thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and sometimes male and female hormonal troubles.

Ask away. Ask anything you feel like. It depends on the competence of the Endo how they answer or manage the question. If they are competent, but it's not in their area of expertise they will find the answer or important enough refer you on. I asked my endo about a broken foot! I do have an awesome Endo.
Remember YOU are the customer, in my case I'm off to see a friend. Once you find a good Endo hang onto them. The only stupid question is the one you should have asked 30 minutes ago.

Thanks for your replies. I have been waiting a long time for this appointment . Just hope endo can tell me why I get jumpy palpitations every day through day even when my levels are good I have a whole load of other symptoms just live in hope there will be some way forward improving what's left of my health . Think my digestion is off course feels like something is stuck in my chest. Any ideas on what a type 1 can use without sending levels haywire. Ive tried sugar free mints but maybe something stronger may help. Cant face queuing at doctors for 8am I'm exhausted as it is.

Thanks
