Snails both in the garden and to eat.
Tried then three times and I still think they are awfull. the sauce they come in is great but the little chewy thing are horrible.
No please dont laugh, its really not funny when it happens.
I have lost the use of the member and need advice.
I have type 2 diabetes and did suffer from Prostate Cancer.
That was cured? bythe injection of lots of tiny radio active
bullets direct into the prostate and if you are lucky it kills the
cancer from within the prostate.
But now my problen is getting an erection or rather the lack
of an erection..
I have heard of something called: Interac avernous Injection.
This is so I believe the last gasp attempt to cure it.

My Doctor is not very helpful and not at all understanding to
my and my wifes needs.
So come on all your clever folk get back to me and give me any
info you may have.

Regards to all.

You need to see Urologist ask your GP to send you
Or the team that dealt with your prostrate treatment

Might be wrong here I was told
If your treated is with radio therapy its a temp thing with the old boy
Only when prostrate its cut out the function is lost forever

Question did you have any urinary incontinence problems with all this

Re: Erectile disfuction

I'm going to ask the obvious question about the use of Viagra. I assume you have tried this which is free to diabetics via prescription? I find it helps to some extent. It's not a miracle cure and I suspect as you suggest you need more radical help. I would certainly ask to be referred to a urologist; you have a right to ask for this

Re: Erectile disfuction

David, my brother-in-law had prostate cancer as well last year and the same sort of treatment as you went through. He was told that it would take about a year before he would would be able to "function" again.

Like others have already mentioned, tell your Dr you want to be referred you to a Urologist. He can not refuse a referral, if he tries remind him of "patients rights" and "patients choice.

After a while with all and sundry pulling and poking you, soon lose all and most of your inhibitions
anyone having a prostrate exam its roll over on your side knees up and Wooooooooo  That docs has a large fingers.

Back on track here
I have found the Urology dept/team Brilliant 5 Star and really helpful i see them every
12 weeks and the urology nurse pops in to see me every 4 weeks

Best is to be open with them ,Maybe the first time for you ,,They have seen hundreds
of undercarriage problems

Re: Erectile disfuction

I have had this problem for many years now, I have tried viagra and it did no good at all for me.
I think it's a mental problem with me, i can reach a climax with out a erectile which is not a satafactory situation for my partner.

Has any Male out there had an inplant for ED and would like discus it with me, as I'm thinking of going for it? Heres hoping someone will talk to me. Thank you.

David, I don't know if you are regulary taking a Statin drug but impotence and erectile dysfunction are side effects of Statins. This problem is important to both you and your wife and should be taken seriously and treated sensitively by your Doctor so go back or try to see another Doctor, best of luck, Debra x

Well Dave, I'm no expert but the first thing you need to do is find another doctor.

You WILL be eligible for free ED advice, so get a GP to refer you to a local specialist. Viagra, levatera and cialis all all available on prescription to you before you look at other, more drastic methods

I have had ED for years! It is due to a side effect of all my medication and Diabetes..It has not been resolved and I cannot take Viagra or other medication due to me being on GTN and having Coronary Heart Disease..My wife and I manage but I find it so depressing at times and for my wife not just myself.
To be honest I do not fancy injections or vacuum pumps etc so it seems that we have to except that that is how it has to be.
