Error with Diabetes PA Android App

The Diabetes PA app was working fine when my Note 8 was running Android 7.0 however today that I updated to Android 8.0 whenever now I open the app it only loads a blank screen on the start up and crashes after few seconds. How do I fix it??

I guess that is similar to the old turn it off then on again.. ahh microsoft windows...
