Hi all , I'm looking for a sugar substitute that will not affect glucose levels at all.one that is 0 carb and wont cause my pancreas to release a load of insulin
The only ones in our shop have a lot of erythrirol in them.would this be suitable?
Theres also a monk fruit one with no carbs.
Are these suitable?

Fruits are good as long as they dont raise your BG, apart from that from diabetics point of view they are like sugars.
I use cologran I bought from lidl, its not the best but I dont really mind it.
I started a thread myself on sweetners few days ago and hence I got aspartame but I was told that its not good with heat so I decided not to try it
I got truvia as well and will try that now.

Thanks but I live In new zealand and havent seen those here. We do have liquid stevia.would that not cause spikes?

Depends on how many carbs it has I would guess, I only use it in a cup of tea once every few days so whatever I use I dont really care a lot to be honest.

I know @Sable_Jan uses skinny sugar syrups.
Hi Sable sorry to tag you on this thread if you dint like it but I read that you use some sort of skinny syrups could you recommend any please and do they have effect on your bg's more importantly.
