I’ve used it successfully before when I made a banana bread, but I used a larger quantity a month or so ago to make a mug brownie and I felt TERRIBLE afterwards. Nausea, dizziness, just vile. I read that it is the most tolerated sweetener generally but those who did suffer from it suffered in the same way I did.
I am thinking it could have been due to the fact that the mug brownie was in the microwave for 40 seconds whereas the banana bread had been in the oven for 30 min - maybe something to do with the baking?
Anyway. I was curious to know if anyone else had felt these effects with Erythritol. It’s a shame because there are many desserts I’d like to make but my experience was so shocking that I darent try it again.
