You would expect it to rise in line with inflation.. if nothing more ... But as with any commodity it's "worth" is what the buyer is willing to pay for it.....While I understand it and might benefit from it myself, sooooo much money is locked up it is hardly surprising interest rates are so low... no one is spending like they did.
and I laugh when I hear about neg equity.... why should it always rise... I know, there are not enough houses in the desirable locations...
The poll is so tight!
What's fascinating is that the poll reveals a lot about the forum population. Another forum I participate on is much more in favour of remain.
I'd guess it also has a much younger population.

I've had another round of deep thinking ...well not that deep really... about IN/OUT whilst on hols this week.
So let's say Friday morning at 7AM the decision is OUT...Leave... What does it mean?
I know, I know you all think "Potts has finally lost it, he's gone bonkers" as Leave means exactly what it says in the tin!
Does it?
Leave triggers a 2 years negotiation to fulfil the democratic wishes of the people. Emmmm.
So what will that negotiation involve?
Well it will involve deciding what Leave means...seriously!
Do we step OUT completely and entirely and follow a World Trade Organisation model, negotiating our own trade agreements...maybe.
This is the nearest expression of what most of the population will think of when we say LEAVE.
But of course at the end of the 2 years negotiation with Europe, the negotiated agreement will have to go through our parliament for approval.
So with a Conservative government with a majority of just 13, is it likely that Labour, Lib Dems, SNP and 50% of the Cons (all of whom wanted to Remain) will agree to this definition of Leave....doubtful. So that negotiated version of Leave of very well struggle to be approved.
Or we could end up at the end of 2 years with a multitude of variations upon what Leave means.
Nearly all the rest will include access to the Single Market or a variant... And guess what that will involve...a LARGE financial contribution from the UK to Europe and a commitment to the FREE MOVEMENT of people, but without any say... We will have Left.
How will parliament feel about getting one of those options approved?
Well I think begrudgingly , Labour, SNP, Lib Dems and 50% of Cons will approve it.
But the rest of the electorate, we'll be confused and angry and could there be blood on the streets? I don't know, but I can envisage some irreparable fault lines occurring in party politics.
So my friends... Just chewing the fat ... If we Leave... If we are OUT Friday morning, what does that mean?

Regime: 25g LCHF, run 1 mile daily, weekly fasting, occasionally longer fasts.
This has been the issue all along. No-one can say what Leave means. All the so called facts and figures which have been used in the past few weeks may all fall apart as we really don't know what will happen.
Hi Kevin, without wishing to be a total cynic but my best guess will be a typical political fudge and that we still won't have a clear understanding of just what it is we have been able to do aft er two years.
It may well be possible for us to tear up all the political red tape only to find that it has been replaced by our own versions.
All the so called facts and figures which have been used in the past few weeks may all fall apart as we really don't know what will happen.
Based on what I've read, leaving would be more likely to precipitate that collapse than staying in.What no one has said (unless I have missed it) and it is this. What happen if we vote to stay in, but with in a matter of months the whole EU thing falls apart, would we have put all our eggs into the one basket (case).
Should that happen would we get dragged in to a much bigger EU bailout, while each country reverts back to their own currency?
Interesting. My local area pole, which contains people of all ages, seems heavily leave. What's fascinating is that the poll reveals a lot about the forum population. Another forum I participate on is much more in favour of remain.
I'd guess it also has a much younger population.

Unless tenants are vunerable! @Sable_Jan If you're a landlord you canapply for it to be paid direct. Hope this helps!Benefits get paid to individuals these days....Not direct to landlords.....just thought I'd say, it's not relevant to the debate
Mine is a postal vote!I honestly think that by now most people will be entranced one way or the other, this could be down to the floating voters and if the weather is kind, if it is wet, windy and cold a lot of people won't bother to go and vote once they get home.
You'd expect a Housing Association would make that stipulation but a friend's son may get evicted for not having paid the rentUnless tenants are vunerable! @Sable_Jan If you're a landlord you canapply for it to be paid direct. Hope this helps!
I'm with you!I'm out.
