Who'd have thought that seeing whales could be bad for your sugar? Not the island tacked onto the side of England but the biggest creatures ever to live on Earth, swimming free and just a few yards away. And while I think about it, volcanoes are pretty dangerous and cause raised sugar levels too. And canoeing in a crater lake does too. And surf beaches. And planes.

And yep I've just had an awesome holiday and I've got three weeks of forum threads to plough through now. It's good to be back!
