Type 1 Eversense XL

Interesting, I like the long life, but

The sensor is inserted under a local anaesthetic. However, you may experience some mild discomfort from the injection of the local anaesthetic or during the procedure.

The sensor measures 18.3 mm by 3.5 mm.

Not sure I'm game to have something so large inserted.... Presumably you need a local to remove also???? At the GP????

I spoke to someone on a trial.
She was very positive and found it much more accurate than any other CGM she had tried.
Our conversation was less than a week after insertion and any discomfort had gone.
