Lovely cartoon, Catherine, but evolution is a matter of faith, not science.

Evolution requires faith that a big BANG resulted in a vast universe that, without any guidance or intelligent input resulted in ordered & intelligent life.

More than that, in people who are active in cooperating with & helping others & other life forms in their various needs. And, sadly in destroying them.

I believe in a creator God, & a Saviour Jesus Christ who came into the world to restore a broken relationship - to bring forgiveness of sin & eternal life.

On the other hand, some think we came from a blob of slime. All the different blobs at different times ‘thought’ they would turn into something else and so gradually became all kinds of different things. Now all these different blobs of slime even ‘evolved’ into male and female which suddenly enabled these different creatures to get together and breed true to their own type. To believe all or any of that really does take faith!

However if you really want to know and enjoy looking on the web you could try looking at http://www.creation.com where there are many avenues to explore and places where you can ask questions. 8)

I think I would go for the slime evolution theory, on the pretext that there are still plenty of slime balls that have failed to evole that still exist

Tell me about it... only got to turn out of my home and walk for about 20mins and there is an estate about 1/2 full of 'em

Now you are on to a 'nature/nurture' discussion which is quite different!

Hi everyone,

I think for reasons of common sense and not to cause offence to people of different faiths and beliefs (if any) we should not now, or in the future talk about religion on this forum!

I Liked the picture Catherine, funny when the final image shows him sitting hunched over a computer disk.
