It really is most likely the months of lockdown. Having had nowhere to go these last months, when I would normally be going out with morris sides several times a week, I really have noticed a big difference in my stamina and have been working on it in the last weeks. .
I am puzzled as to why you think that you can remove belly fat with exercise though - it has long been pointed out that you can't target fat removal, no matter what some video workouts or gym instructors promise.
I think you are right in that having a 12 as a type 2 may impact your energy levels. Literally the insulin resistance is slowing down the entry of glucose into your cells so getting your starting sugars down can only help your performance during the session but also your muscle building at rest. The rest will improve if you continue to challenge your muscles, including your heart, by tiring the muscles you are working on out.Hi
I have started going to the gym again & i have definitely noticed a significant difference i am struggling to do 10kg dumbbells for 10 reps/ i am even struggling to do 10 push-upd/ before i was able to do 30 in one-go; tje treadmill i once was comfortable at 6mph at a running pace and now i cant even run at 5mph; i just walk on a incline at 3mph-
Im do believe this may be due to my blood sugars levels and not due to being away from gym for 5 months? My levels are around 12mmol when im at the gym and i know it can go up due to exercise too but when im finished and 1 hour after it will go back down..
I know i need to sweat more and have more intense workouts to loose the belly fat but i think thats probably going to happen when my blood sugars are stable. I probably will continue my membership since im motivated but im definitely fatigued when im at the gym even before i have started any workout.
I feel angry i remember i was going to the gym before and i was sweating and getting a good workout in, i guess maybe i need to train when in in better blood sugar control?

It is frustrating because you are comparing yourself to a previous standard but work through that feeling by problem solving the issue of why your bg is high going in?
Definitely i have tried everything to get my levels down including fasting for 12 hours but my levels tend to rise after breakfast i have boiled eggs so im not sure why it is going up ar 6 hours my blood sugars is still the same around 11-12 im not wanting to add more medication to my current medication.. i really hope that magnesium and vitamin D arent the reason for me not going down.
I will continue my membership at the gym
Hi there, I note you are on insulin. It can be tricky with some forms of exercise when on insulin, how do you dose for when you exercise? x
