Experience with restrictive starch rice?

Explain to your GP that the Ozempic is actually working by inducing ketosis without needing restricted carbs to trigger it. It is how these meds work. Ozempic needs you to eat carbs to prevent ketoacidosis. Do not let your glucose levels go too low. I have seen reports that levels below 7 mmol/l may be increasing the risk of DKA. DO NOT use a low carb diet or fasting if on these meds.
I have been keeping a close eye on my ketone levels... At first i just had pee sticks and nearly gave myself a heart attack as it looked crazy high... Then i got a blood strip tester which seems to be far more accurate. I also did blood BG tests and that showed that my BG was staying between 4.4 and 5 which is what my doctor recommended. Ketone levels stay in the optimum level during the fast period and then go down and back up around eating time. I will be keeping a close eye on everything during this period when i want to lose a lot of weight. Thereafter i will raise the level of my BG by 1 or 2... Just see how it goes. I will not be low carbing over christmas, so will see what difference that makes to my BG over those few weeks.
