M Member496333 Guest Feb 25, 2020 #2 Not unusual. Eating a low-carb breakfast often arrests dawn phenomenon. Put another way, any potential glucose bump from the food is cancelled out by the cessation of DP. Had you not eaten it would likely have continued to rise.
