Extra Amniotic Fluid

I had extra fluid during both pregnancies. They said it was possibly gestational diabetes. Anyone have experience with extra fluid?
 
No experience. Just bumping up the topic.
 
Interesting , I had extra amniotic fluids, I think. They did say it was I can't remember whether it was said in front or behind the baby. How that works. I became huge quickly, not body weight, only baby and amniotic fluids. That was 20 yrs ago. Developed T2, 5 years ago.
