Hi, my name’s Mel and I’m a chocoholic.

Many of us know and love the Lindt 99% or even the 100% Hotel Chocolat loveliness, but it’s expensive and not always easy to get hold of, for me at least. So in need of a chocklit fix this evening, and without anything chocolatey in the gaff, I tried nibbling on...

Cacao nibs.

I’m in love. All the flavour of the really strong stuff, with a lovely crunch, and only 3% carb

Cadburys Flake
Cadburys buttons
Green and black chocolate any flavour
Lindor well anything they do.

I have no idea how many carbs are in any of the above but love them, however all of the above in moderation, so a bar of Lindor would last at least a week

In fact I will try almost any chocolate so long as it has no nuts in it

Mel can I just ask which brand or where these wonder choc came from?

@Mel dCP.
Didn’t have you down as a chocaddict.
The dark side chocolate we see Mel.
It would appear that @Knikki isn’t quite so fussy about his chocolate .
What will people say when they find out that us lot actually eat .....chocolate........????????

Being allergic to milk, you can keep my share!

@Knikki . Good evening my friend. Yet again I find myself having to agree with you.
Nuts in chocolate???????? NO NO NO.
Thoughts on ....... Twirls....
As a T1 I never eat chocolate but if I did then a Twirl would probably float my boat.

I’m allergic to EVERYTHING! So the really dark stuff is MINE.

As one does not wish to upset the Ruler of the Multiverse her Great Purpleness I will forgo the chocolate of much darkness

Used to be lovely but have become what I can only describe as 'claggy' after Kraft got their hands on it. Cadbury's product range is awful these days. Aside from the occasional bit of Galaxy, 85%+ is what I go for these days for pure chocolate. Totally agree on the nuts - though I wouldn't have those alone or in anything! :***:

I bet you are glad there is no 12 step programme for all us.!!!

That we are human, unafraid, and know what is good for us!!! (in moderation)

Wot's wrong with nuts in chocolate ? Hands up (virtually) up the nut-chochaholics!!

I am intolerant of milk protein, so the darker the chocey the better. Soy milk is the staple in our household. No soy chocolate that I know of !!??
I’ve never really liked milk chocolate anyway, even as a kid my favourite was Cadbury’s Bourneville! But even that is too sickly sweet for me now.

I use almond milk for tea, and soya cream for cooking when I can’t get the goat stuff.
