meanwhile, a lot of fruit is very high in sugar - I only eat one portion a day, of berries as they are much lower than others, bananas are probably the worst
all veg contains some carbs but green veg/cauliflower, etc are low, things like root veg, butternet and tomatoes are higher
and cow's milk includes a sugar (lactose)
so you might be eating more than you think?
