Eye bleed

Ok so this hasn't happened to me before, so its quite scary. Noticed my eye looked blood shot, it's not, but it came on suddenly, can someone explain what I should do next?

Does it look like this? http://www.patient.co.uk/doctor/subconjunctival-haemorrhage . Happened to me last week. A bit scary at first but harmless. Probably best to check with your GP or casualty department to be on the safe side.

Hi Sugarmog, thanks for answering, yes it does look like that, and after an explanation to the doctor via a phone call, he more or less confirmed it too.
