Background retinopathy can go and even with full blown proliferated retinopathy it can get better, though you have to do it carefully...so better control all around should help.

Certainly did. It's nothing to worry about, I'm sure if you keep your levels as they are now, it'll go. My HbA1c journey sounds almost identical to yours.
