I had my screening test Monday. The lady said what she could see was fine.

Yesterday (Friday) I received the results saying the test was inadequate and I nee to a ASAP red teen again. Could this be bad news and has it happened to anyone else??

I wouldn't worry just yet, and yes, it has happened to others on the forum

The screening service has strict standards for both the quality and the position of images. The photographer may say that the images are 'fine' because they are positioned correctly and there are no very obviously unassessable areas. However, it's only when the images are examined later in detail, on large screens, that someone can really judge whether the quality is good enough. There are various reasons for inadequate images including cataract, floaters and poor dilation.

It's a nuisance when you have to be re-screened but it's nothing to worry about..

The lady should not have said they were fine. The imagines are reviewed by a minimum of three optometrist, to ensure that if they say that there is an issue, there is an issue. I wouldn’t worry though sometimes it’s the equipment that was the issue. Good luck
