Update on Eye screening test this morning
I arrived at the surgery at 9.30am it was full to the rafters, stood there for 20 minutes(standing room only)
Then decided to ask at reception ,the lady said oh there's a transit van it the car park, thank you I said, sure enough there was the transit van with NHS (Ashford) on it ,door slid open, sorry I am late (after I had explained why) I said,to the young man ,come on in and sit down he said,I had prepared a disclaimer statement with a copy of my latest opticians certificate attached (23rd November 2016).
OK he said I will just do a pressure test and, I can book you in for a scope test at the Hospital no need for drops with a scope test then you can go,and then he took about 12 images of the back of my eyes which came up on a screen each time and he went through each image and explained what we were looking at (20 minutes)as the Owl flies (LOL) I said when do I go for my scope test,he then said OH no need you will get your results in 4 to 6 weeks ,I managed to get the images without the drops
So all in all a good result for a happy Owl
