Type of diabetes
I reversed my Type 2
Treatment type
I do not have diabetes
Been to the optician for my yearly check up. Eyesight improved and need new glasses. I no longer need glasses for long distance or driving. Also told me he doesn't want to see me for 2 years now as eyes in excellent condition. Amazing what getting your BG levels sorted can do.

not since I became diabetic

Then why wait 2 years? :)
Can I ask for a sight test more frequently?
If you are concerned about your sight before your next NHS sight test is due, you should visit your ophthalmic practitioner. The ophthalmic practitioner will be able to carry out an NHS sight test earlier than planned, if it is considered clinically necessary. If you want a sight test more often than your ophthalmic practitioner considers clinically necessary, you will have to pay for a private sight test

Excellent news Andrew.... However I would still go for a check up every year just in case...
