Spicy food which is too hot. Nasty people who have no idea on your life journey but feel the need to comment and be cruel.
Not sure if this would be the best thread.
Was well over due for eye test at Opticians.
Prescription not changed for both close and distance. Have bought new prescription Sunglasses though.
A start of a cataract but not changed from before.
They are calling me back in a year.
I am still convinced Low carb, both Carnivore and Keto has helped.
Still haven't had a hospital check yet.

Has anyone else noticed their eyes have stayed the same or improved since doing Low carb etc?

Don't know yet as I have to re book my eye test as I was poorly. However, I am hopeful. Well done you!!

My ophthalmologist (eye surgeon) who I see for a "born with " problem says the best way to maintain eye sight is to keep blood sugars low, as low as possible. As I'm already partially sighted in one eye, that's all the motivation I need to stay low carb and keep my good eye good!

I have just had a letter from the hospital. Results of eye screening. 1st one I have ever had.
No Diabetic Retinopathy. Very pleased.
