I was revered (sorry cannot spell) to the hospital as my eye sight was very blurry ,not all the time but mornings ,evenings. I am not diabetic ,blood test was 6.9 . the nurse said it is caused by diabetes and to ask for another test. I cannot get test done till next week, does anyone know if being prediabetic it can still affect your eyes ? I find all this confusing. Im just asking incase you have had this proplem and not been diabetic. Thank you

Eyesight problems can have MANY causes, not just Diabetes.
You really need to get proper tests done of both your eyes, and also to confirm if in fact you actually have Diabetes. It is best not to speculate at the moment.
Even non-Diabetic's have eyesight problems........

if you go to B**ts they have some up to date kit .I don't know if it still stands but last time i went it was free I have a damaged left eye (nothing to do with diabetes .I didnt mention it to the optromapist on purpose She told me pretty much straight away so i can recommend them .Do you suffer headaches or migrane as these too can give you blurred vision as well as certain foods . Hope i've pointed you in the right direction
JF also i have to were sunglasses on a bright day or my vision is blurry .
