How long did it take for your eye sight to go back to normal once diagnosed with diabetes ? I was diagnosed a week ago and seems to be getting more and more blurry

Hi it took my eyesight a couple of weeks to settle ,thought the blurred vision was something I was gonna hav to live with but it is fine now .Diagnosed in April and all good now .

They r still unsure treating me as type 2 on metaformin and glicazide twice a day . Looking at genetic link as son diagnosed type 1 last Nov and my dad was type 1 also .

They unsure with me too , I only went to drs as sight was getting more blurred and loss of weight and assumed diabetes at gran had type 1 and my dad had type 2 plus I had gestational 2 times . My sight is getting worse by the day I don’t feel safe to drive and now on +2.5 glasses for reading , this is scary stuff. Been signed off work till mon and now got lifts to work but worried I can’t do my job
