wholemeal bread doesn't really spike mine if I time my bolus insulin correctly, I wouldn't be paying a fortune just for bread, cant afford to, 59p loaf does me fine xx
I’m T2 diet controlled and find that Hovis Sunflower and Pumpkin seed bread or TESCO High Protein bread doesn’t spike my blood sugar - they’re 10g carbs per slice.
I had to look that bread up as I'd never heard of it a very interesting read, however I didn't see anything about it being better for blood sugar? I'd be interested to try it if I come across it.
