Hi,my daughter was diagnosed type 1 last year and since then we have raised two thousand three hundred pounds for our local childrens diabetes clinic,i am doing the Reading half marathon next year,i have never done anything like this before,lol.Me and my daughter have just made 2 facebook support groups called Diabetic kidz club and Reading parents of Diabetic children so if anyone does live in the Reading berkshire area please like our page and join as we are also wanting to organize days out for children in the local area ;)

Welcome and hi :wave: thats a fantastic thing you have done, congraulations and well done on your fantastic fundraising :thumbup: I hope you gets lots of support from people in Berkshire. Good luck with best wishes RRB
 
Thankyou RRB :D We only set it up 2 days ago so still very new and trying to get the word out but i know that in our Reading and surrounding area there are at least approx 250 children that are insulin dependant. :cry:

I know this post is really old but is this something you're still doing? I have a newly diagnosed 5 year old and would like to meet other people in the area who know how it is.
I'm not in FaceBook though,
