I do not have diabetes
Hi, i am here as support member. My partner has t1 and it s been around 10 to 12 years now but we met about 2 yrs ago. We live in romania and i doubt we have anything more than a group on fb /meta that can help ... If anything.
He has his ups and downs, moods, anger, chill or fatigue and at best, he s an adorable child enjoying life. I am here for the ride and i feel almost everything he feels but i just see it from the outside. I m very empathic, so when he s angry i am angry .. and i wouldn't even know why. Thing is he has been having great bg lately and it s a good moment to get new glasses, start a family and go to doctors, dentist etc.. but the last few days he s been super tired and in pain, he just slept like sht and he s the driver.
I am learning yo drive so i can help out every now and then.. but i am afraid he ll get worse one day and i ll have to pick up the pieces, raise the kid, drive the car, take care of him etc. So i am here to gather all the knowledge from you guys do i can be a great support and keep him alive and able for decades :3 and my mental sanity too

Hi,

Welcome to the forum.
Is there any way your partner can join the forum & discuss his own condition first hand?
Been T1 myself for nearly 5 decades & still perfectly capable of picking up any “pieces” myself…
