No. This is a good result. I'm often around this figure, as are many others. This is a normal non-diabetics fasting figure. Don't start thinking you're "cured" though! Just well managed. Well done though.
Wel done! As Grazer says, 4.7 is well within the non-diabetic range.
The target range for non-diabetics (NICE guidelines) is: 3.5 - 5.5 before meals/fasting; less than 8, 2 hours after eating.
For Type 2s, it's 4 - 7 before meals/fasting; less than 8.5, 2 hours after eating. Many of us prefer not to be over 7.8, 2 hours after eating.
I try to keep to non-diabetic levels, working on the principle that the more 'normal' my BGs are, the less damage the diabetes is doing to me. Time will tell .
The OP is fasting according to Ramadan and is eating quite well in the evenings if you refer to his earlier posts. I think that is his main worry at the moment.
