Hi I usually sit around 7 testing first thing in the morning, so last night didn’t feel well at dinner so past on it and around 8 had a small bowl of low sugar granola with semi skimmed milk. This morning at 7 tested and blood up at 11, any help on this ?
Thanks

Hi @Robti I think you may have already diagnosed the reason for the high Fasting BG when you say you didn't feel well at dinner and so passed on it.
There are around 40 non-food reasons for high BG and being unwell is one of them.

When our body feels we need more energy (to fight off infection, to heal an injury or to go hunt/gather the first meal of the day, out liver dumps more glucose into our blood stream, rather than the normal fairly constant trickle.

Thank you for the helpful reply I will see how it goes tomorrow morning when testing, hopefully back down
