Hello everyone, I got my Tee2+ yesterday and had a couple of tests to see which part of my fingers/thumbs were going to be the pin cushion, the thumbs won hands down, so my first fasting/before breakfast bloods was 5.9

And my first post meal bg is at 8.1.
I now know that my normal breakfast, porridge and soya milk puts my bg up 2.2
This does include 1 black coffee, 1 metformin 500mg, amlodipine 10mg, atorvastatin 40mg, 1 aspirin 75mg and 1 multi vitamin/mineral tablet washed down with a quarter pint of water

Good job! Remember that you can adjust depth setting on the lancet if it's causing pain or excessive bleeding!

Well lunch has upped and gone.
Before lunch @14:18 bg at 4.4
Lunch was 2 yogurts benecol 12 carbs per 120mg pot, 1 black coffee, 1 cheese toastie 2 slices bread 13.3 carbs each and a slice of cheese.
Now @16:21 bg at 5.7, I now look forward to dinner

Are you sure you are diabetic? Lol. Those are absolutely normal numbers. The rise after the breakfast porridge was a bit much, but all that would be necessary would be to reduce the portion size and see if that makes a difference.
