Fasting bloods.

Hi. I went to bed last night on a 5.4 2 hrs after sausages with bacon wrapped around them and veg and gravy and strawberries and double cream. I was soo happy. But then this morning I’m 6.5. Can anyone tell me why this happens pls. Have a good day all I’m off to hairdressers. X.

Some foods are slowly digested and can effect your blood sugars hours later , If mine went up as little as yours after eating that I would be more than happy .

Have a read of this @SuNuman , it is perfectly normal for this to happen. Your fasting blood sugar will be the last to settle down:
