Thanks for that info. I guess it's just time then, along with a good diet...:)

I have just got the Libre monitor, and it is an eye-opener as to what various foods do to you.

I have, for years, eaten either porridge or a very low sugar muesli. I can see that this really rockets the B/S levels. So for the last few days, I have gone without a breakfast, with no hunger problem either, This seems to be lowering the B/S levels for the rest of the day....:)

And after several days, B/S is down in the 8's. No oats for breakfast is doing the trick. And very low carbs...

Over Christmas, my kids hosted me for Christmas diners, and I found that a meat and veg meal only slightly raised the B/S.

This Libre thingy is really showing me the way to reduce the B/S.

Oddly, I did drink a bottle of white wine one evening, and believe it or not, it barely raised the B/S. Not a habit to continue, I must add.

Also over the week, a pound or two lost... (weight wise)
