Hi,
For someone with a relatively high fasting glucose level, is it better to have something low carb in the morning, maybe egg based, rather than extending my fast, (currently until around 2.00pm) thereby spending a protracted length of time with a higher glucose level?
I can’t quite decide if that reads correctly, so if it makes no sense. My apologies.
I am trying to reduce my fasting glucose, but I seem to be particularly susceptible to the dawn phenomenon!
I had managed to get my HBA1c down from 118 to 43. It has now crept up to 49, so I’m trying hard to reduce it again.
Cheers
Nick.
