i get some conflicting statements concerning liver dump. Some suggests that the high readings are caused by the amount of carb intake in the evening while others say it is not dependent on what you may have eaten the previous evening. I recently figured that my morning BG levels are going high. I used to get between 4.8 and 5.1. Now i am getting between 5.6 and 5.9. One doctor diagnosed me with prediabetic and i visited another doctor after 6 months who tested my hB1Ac and he said i am not diabetic. But i bought myself a meter to keep monitoring my BG.

Google" Blood Sugar 101" and you will get all the answers there.

I wouldn't worry about fasting levels as they can be mis-leading. Take a test 2 hours after a meal and also just before if you can afford the strips. If you stay below 8.5 after 2 hours you are OK.

Thank you. I usually test 2 hours after supper and my readings are in the range 7.6 to 7.9.
