Type 2 Fasting levels

I'm type2 brought on by a mitochondrial condition. I have just changed my insulin to Tresiba pen 2 units.
On the whole my blood levels are really good.

My question is how do I reduce my fasting sugars?

I've tried snack at night low carb

I've made sure my levels are around 8 as advised at bedtime.

What else can I do?
