I think it does mean higher than normal blood glucose levels, but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes. I don't think it means you can't lower your blood glucose through a change in lifestyle. Even many people with full blown type 2 diabetes can get their levels to normal. What does the term "pre-diabetic" actually mean? Having consistently higher than normal readings? Which never go down even with a healthy lifestyle? I am sorry but this is my first time dealing with such situation and different thoughts and questions come up to my mind..
Yes i will start working on my lifestyle but the thoughts worry me so much since I am dealing with anxiety as well..
Then it is best to see your doctor about your anxiety levels.
I already have..I was on medication 6 years ago then discontinued it. I have been feeling better and controlling it with meditation and deep breathing methods. Sometimes I have days where I feel anxious but I believe I can manage it myself rather than depending on medication. It's just that this result made me anxious since it's a little bit over the limit that was written on the result card..
