Hello everyone, I am new to this forum.
I just have a quick question and I am very concerned about it. I am a 30 years old male. My BMI is normal. I am just not that much active or into healthy diet (I play a lot of computer games). My dad is diabetic for years now.
I have a problem with mild anxiety and stress which causes me to feel panicky sometimes. Recently I have been going through a stress phase where I couldn't sleep properly for 3-4 nights (had 3-4 max hours of sleep). One of the nights I couldn't sleep even for a little bit. So I went to see the doctor. I had been feeling hungrier than usual as well. So the doctor asked me to have a FGT test (in a lab). I was fasting for 12 hours (no food no water). It came out to be 101.7 mg/dl (which translates to 5.65 mmol/L)
Can this be enough to jump to the conclusion that I am pre-diabetic?
