I take microwaveable trays with me that have meat and veggies and I can microwave them at the office, no problem. The problem is how to add fat in these meals? Is there any fat that can be microwaved? I can't carry other trays with fat, it's not very convenient. Any idea?

Butter to melt on your veggies, a chunk of cheese for afters or can you take a pot of berries with cream as a pud. It depends how much fat you want to add

Doesn't the meat have fat in it?
Of course. Top quality raw ham must be fatty

I'm soundink like an advert for Intalian food. But since I normally eat Italian an northern Italian, I know better these food and by the bay aftr diagnosis I decided to eat high quality foods - cheapes food could have extra addictive and sugar added, even meat...

You can microwave anything.
Just chuck butter and cream over belly pork, and you'll get a creamy sauce when you microwave it.
Fatty cut of lamb, duck, bacon.
And take a jar of goose fat or beef dripping in for when you need extra over a leaner cut.

Thanks for the suggestions, I came up with a decent one: grilled halloumi. It can be grilled, put in the tray in the fridge and microwaved with the meat. It has a good 25% fat raw, maybe more % if grilled.

How about taking a few small bottles of flavoured olive oils to keep at work to drizzle over your veg? I've got garlic oil, chilli oil, truffle oil and sesame oil which I used if I think a meal is too low in fat.

I go with Mayo - one tablespoon of Hellman's contains 108 calories and is 98% fat.

Truffle oil is almost an hoax, beware. They but a small quantity of truffle in then all are flavourings like 2,4-Dithiapentane

I'm a mayo junkie!!
I have taken a photo of you :)
Seriously, after I change my diet I find industrially-made mayonnaise not very good to taste.
I prefer to make at home, but unfortunately, being without preservatives and made with raw eggs I have to prepare small batched and finish it few days.

Hahaha. I hear you. I used to make my own but unfortunately can't do raw egg anymore. And when made with EXTRA virgin olive oil it's much too bitter. I then used some nut oils but have kidney stones and nuts are high oxalate which is a no go. Not sure if the oxalates are in the oils too

I have found a not perfect but better than most and tastes like hellmans. It NON GMO canola, egg free dairy free gluten free and vegan ( I'm not ). Ingred are non gmo canola, water, distilled vinegar. 2% or less salt sugar spice, modified food starch ( arg) pea protein lemon juice and calcium disodium. Not perfect but it's one of the few foods I eat with more than one ingredient. Trying to keep saturated fat low its hard to find good fat sources. No to dairy for me. It's also so very kind to my bs. I eat avocado all day. Olive oil acts like water and does not satisfy at all. So avocado and mayo and whatever fat comes with my protein is about it. And again, trying to keep sat fat low.

Do you use a mixture of oils for your mayo?
