There are lots of causes of aching joints and fatigue so it's always good to consult the GP if you're worried. From my own experience, I have found that I don't need an afternoon snooze and my joints don't hurt as much now that I have pulled my blood sugar levels into some kind of order. But there may be no connection – life isn't so easily classified! You could rectify your "lapses" and then see what happens? Or, as I say, go to the doctor anyway.
