Hi Does anyone else get fatigue and aching joints. I have been diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes about 6 months ago was on strict diet but have lapsed a bit could this be it?

Hi there Jules50.
There are lots of causes of aching joints and fatigue so it's always good to consult the GP if you're worried. From my own experience, I have found that I don't need an afternoon snooze and my joints don't hurt as much now that I have pulled my blood sugar levels into some kind of order. But there may be no connection – life isn't so easily classified! You could rectify your "lapses" and then see what happens? Or, as I say, go to the doctor anyway. Let us know what happens, as everyone's experience helps inform us a little bit. Good luck with experimenting!

Feeling this way isn't normal Jules, always best to get these things checked out by your gp.
