Hello and welcome @lawrence21360

Without a lot more information this is an impossible question to answer.

As a type 2 diabetic on no medication in my mid-late 50s and working full time it is not usual for me. On the other hand I do suffer from anxiety, work in a stressful job and am generally a bad sleeper.

Are you on any medication? Do you measure your levels? If you do what sort of levels are you seeing? Do you sleep well at night? How old are you? do you have any other conditions that may cause fatigue? How long has it been since you were diagnosed? What sort of food do you eat?

Depending on a lot of factors this may be worthwhile discussing with your doctor. For nights when I get less than 4 hours sleep I would be happy of I could get a nap in to help make up the hours but that's not something I can do.

Post some more information so that people are able respond in a way that may be helpful :)

i sleep for three hours every day .in the afternoon or early evening .is this normal for type 2 diabetes
I think it depends if your blood sugar is high, sugar is energy your body can't use so if you're eating lots of carbs it's almost guaranteed to result in a lack of energy and tiredness

I am Type 1 and find that regardless of whether my BG is 'normal' I cannot stay awake. Unsure if this is diabetes related or whether there is something else going on.
