I see from your profile your kid uses Novorapid. The new reusable pens save the dose & can be transferred to the Libre sensor app via NFC, logging a dose. (This also includes the separate airshot. But it can be marked as a non injectable on the app.)

I also use Lantus but these pens have some catching up to do regarding the NFC technology..
