Seeing the nurse yesterday and being told im not diabetic has set me wondering now if indeed my wife is diabetic cos i dont remember her having glucose tolerance test. One silly consultant just told her she was diabetic and stuck her on Metformin. Then a year or so ago our GP said she was diabetic for sure cos of the blood test readings hed recently got done.Thats how my GP made a diagnosis last month about me.But there again the wife nearly went in to a diabetic coma once when she was in hospital or so the nursing staff told me when i went to visit the following morning. So its quite a puzzler.
Yeah its crazy isnt it.Diabetes doesnt go away like that. Its treatable but not curable.Once you have it you have it for life. The way the NHS is going at the moment theres a lot of mistakes being made and it makes you sit up and wonder.
