I feel like hell everyday. I go see my endocrinologist and he says my A1C is 6 or below and that I shouldn't feel like this. I go to the Cleveland Clinic like he says to see a neurologist.... he can't find anything wrong with me. I wake up in the morning my nerve pain sometimes screams at me. I'm sometimes extremely groggy. I have been going to my Rec. Ctr. to exercise but I've got **** for energy. My life has gotten very confusing. Food allergies?.. Do I need to see a nutritionist? My blood sugars aren't generally above 150-160 after eating.... what am I missing. I feel like giving up. If you've got an idea I'd appreciate it.
thanks.......

Are you on medication? Tablets or MDI's? hba1c doesn't give you an overall picture as its in general terms an average glucose level. If you run very low a lot of the time that can balance out any highs to give a false sense of control. It could be diet related, weight related, lack of exercise etc. There's so many variables it could be that its almost impossible to say without knowing your full health history.

@Dreadlox33 - Did your neurologist run any tests when you saw them? If so, do you know what they were for?

Where is your nerve pain in the mornings? Hand, feet, hips, for example?
