Feeling a bit flat

Last August my consultant said I could go on a pump so today I had my third appointment for pump training/discussion only to be told they still don’t know if I have funding. They have provisionally said I may have it on the 19th feb but won’t know for sure until the 5th feb. It’s so frustrating I could scream.

Sorry, but I would be asking for a copy of my medical file to see when they have requested funding...

Funding requests should not take 4 months.

One thing you can do, if you dont, is ask for a copy of letters that are sent to GP to be sent to you after appointments.

Talk about mood swings my nurse has seen the consultant in the hour since leaving her and he’s given the green light for the 19th. I’m now very happy and excited
