Not sure what is going on with my readings. I’ve been regularly reading between 6.8 -9.5 for about six weeks now (only diagnosed in January) then all of a sudden (Monday and Tuesday) I have been hitting readings of between 10 - 14.5. Then today my readings are back to 7.5. I’ve not changed what I’ve been eating and exercise is at the same level. What is going on? Is this normal?

Could be anything. The changes in weather, a bad night or two, a cold you barely noticed having, stress, medication.... There's more that can make you rise than just food and a liver dump.

Everyone sees glitches, for whatever reason. If the over-all picture's still pretty good, that's something to keep striving for.

We tend to think of this thing as simply a question of managing glucose in terms of what we eat, but your body has control mechanisms affecting glucose from all sorts of things, stress and sleep quality being the most obvious, but any infection will have your body rally the troops - and they need feeding.. so you could just have had a cold, but because you take such good care generally, you've dealt with it without having any symptoms...
